Thank you for your interest in the Landus Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship Program. This opportunity is offered to high school seniors in our territory who plan to obtain a post-secondary education in an agricultural-related field. These young leaders play a critical role in shaping agriculture in the coming decades.

As a cooperative, our farmer-owners and rural communities are raising not only livestock and crops that feed and fuel the world, but also the next generation of the agricultural industry. As the cost of post-secondary education rises, the goal of obtaining an advanced education is becoming harder to realize. The Landus scholarship program is designed to recognize students’ academic achievements and potential while responding to the financial pressures felt by many rural families.

Landus will be awarding five (5) one-year scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each. Recipients must enter an agriculture or life sciences program at the accredited post-secondary institution of their choice. Recipients will be chosen by an independent committee supervised by the Iowa College Student Aid Commission.

We sincerely hope you apply for the Landus Excellence in Agriculture Scholarship and wish you success in achieving your academic goals.
