Announcing The Landus Dave Fevold Memorial Scholarship

2023 Dave Fevold Memorial Scholarship Website 040523

Born and raised on a farm in Iowa, Dave was a farm boy his entire life. He grew up helping with everything from tilling, combining, planting corn and beans, to raising and showing livestock. He carried on this love into his adult years and enjoyed watching his boys get involved in agriculture as well as fueling his passion and knowledge into his professional career.

Dave Fevold had a great passion for custom application. He was always putting his best foot forward to make sure growers got what they needed and applied in a timely fashion. Dave was always looking for better ways to increase efficiency in the application world for our farmer-owners. He had a great understanding and passion for operating equipment.

Dave embodied #TheLandusWay and worked to make his community a welcoming place to all. To honor Dave’s life, work, and dedication to the rural communities across the state, Landus is proud to award four (4), one-year scholarships in the amount of $1,000 in the name of Dave Fevold. Recipients must be currently enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution, pursuing a career in agriculture, with a preferred interest in Custom Application. Complementing the scholarship, there will be an optional Landus internship with the opportunity to develop Custom Applicator skills and other operational knowledge.

Dave fought a courageous battle against cancer and this scholarship is a way for us to honor his memory & dedication to the application profession. It is a privilege for Landus to provide a scholarship in Dave’s name to encourage others to pursue a career in Custom Application, which was such a passion of his.
