Landus GROW Virtual Agronomist video, Field Stress Load

Grow Mag Spring 2022 Virtual Agronomist Facebook vf

Calls are coming in on stress in both corn and soybeans. Some of the stress is due to carryover damage because of last year's dry conditions not allowing breakdown in last year's herbicide programs. Some of the stress is caused by this year's variable weather which delayed planting in some areas. Some of the stress has been caused by human error. Regardless, field stress load is an agronomic topic we will be discussing all growing season and is the topic for this episode of the Virtual Agronomist. It’s not always the first stress that causes the biggest yield loss. But when there are multiple stresses in a field, the additive effect can be significant.
