Fertilizer prices have dropped some from last fall and should be seen as a good value at the farm gate. Many retailers took positions but were modest with their positions due to the uncertainty of demand and crop rotations. Supplies on fertilizers should be adequate, however, there could be some potential supply issues on phosphates due to Mosaic’s anti-dumping petition which has potentially curtailed import tons due to the uncertainty of tariffs.
