Landus Appoints Angie Krieger as General Counsel

Landus is thrilled to welcome Angie Krieger to the team as General Counsel.

With more than 20 years in the food and agriculture industry, Angie brings a unique and dynamic skill set of legal expertise and operational experience.  Angie most recently served as General Counsel for the National Pork Board, where she also held roles in operations, marketing and outreach. Prior to the National Pork Board, Angie worked for Cargill Meat Solutions and JBS Live Pork. She's a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law and Oklahoma State University. Her robust background will allow her to make an immediate impact at Landus.

“Angie brings both legal expertise and business know-how that will be invaluable to Landus,” said Eric Heismeyer, CEO of Landus. “Her experience across food and agriculture, paired with her leadership background, will ensure strong governance and decision-making as we grow and serve our farmer-owners.”
“As farmers, we know strong guidance is critical to success,” said Tim Kolder, Chairman of the Landus Board. “Angie’s long history in agriculture and her practical approach will provide Landus the guidance we need to best provide for our farmer-owners.”

Angie and Jason Krieger live in Grimes with their daughter Quinn, a 7th grader at DC-G. Angie’s twin daughters, Blythe and Claire, are finishing up their degrees at Iowa State University and the University of Northern Iowa, and her daughter, Drew, attends Oklahoma State University.  Angie will join our team on October 13, and she's looking forward to working with the Landus Board and leadership team to build trust, deliver value, and carry forward the cooperative’s mission of supporting its farmer-members.
