Getting to Know Landus: Savannah Jenkins

Although she’s newer to the department, she has quickly stepped into the work of aligning Landus’ fuel and LP programs to better serve farmers and strengthen cooperative operations.
For Savannah, the impact of her role is clear.
“Savings, savings, savings. What better way to show an impact than to save money and provide premium fuel?”
By helping deliver dependable fuel solutions at competitive value, she directly supports farmers while also improving efficiencies within Landus’ internal fleet. Her focus is on creating value at every level: for customers, coworkers, and the cooperative as a whole.
Savannah is motivated by knowing her work makes a difference. That mindset has shaped her career at Landus, including her previous role overseeing off-farm trucking. When she first stepped into that position, the team managed a couple of million bushels off farm. Within a few years, they reached a record-setting 21 million bushels during a tight harvest window—a milestone that required strong coordination and behind-the-scenes efficiency.
While she’s proud of the record, she’s just as proud of the people. She jokes with the logistics team, “I hired that driver,” when former team members go on to break new records. Watching others succeed remains one of her greatest accomplishments.
Outside of work, Savannah enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and cheering on the Cyclones. She and her husband share a love of travel, with Thailand, where they swam with elephants, ranking as a favorite trip. Together, they have a goal of visiting all 50 states.
Her ideal Sunday includes quality family time, a good meal, a clean house, and getting organized for the week ahead. It’s that balance of preparation, performance, and people that Savannah brings to Landus every day.
