Rural Matters Partnership Spotlight: National Grain and Feed Association

We are focused on advocating for our farmers and the future of their businesses. This includes engaging directly with lawmakers and collaborating with various industry organizations and associations to enhance our collective impact. Recently, I had the honor of representing Landus at the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) Washington D.C. fly-in.

NGFA team members worked with IA Sen. Joni Ernst (@NGFA on Flickr)
Since 1896, NGFA has represented and provided services for grain, feed, and related commercial businesses, comprised of nearly 1,000 companies and 7,500 different facilities. Their mission is advocating for a global open market environment to efficiently produce and provide a safe, abundant, affordable, sustainable, and wholesome supply of grain, oilseeds, feed, and related products responsive to market demand.
As a member of NGFA, Landus farmers have a stronger voice in critical issues each and every day in Washington D.C. Below is a recap of the policy priorities finalized by the NGFA members for 2024, and the issues that we discussed with congressional offices and staffers during the recent fly-in:
Photos of our fly-in and more details from NGFA's fly-ins can be found here.
